Getting There

• Car

  If you're driving from the Gulf Coast area, take I-10 W towards San Antonio. Continue on I-10 W for approximately 130 miles. Once you approach San Antonio, take exit 567A for I-37 S toward Corpus Christi. Continue on I-37 S for about 3 miles and take exit 141B for Commerce St. Merge onto Commerce St and then take a left onto Alamo Plaza. The Alamo will be on your right at 300 Alamo Plaza. There may be parking available in nearby garages, but be prepared for parking fees that can range from $10-$20 depending on the duration of your visit.

  For those using public transportation, start by taking a Greyhound or Megabus from various locations along the Gulf Coast to the San Antonio Greyhound Station. Get off at the stop at Alamo Plaza, which is only a short walk from The Alamo (300 Alamo Plaza). The bus fare is approximately $1.30 for a one-way trip.
