From downtown Houston, walk to the Main Street Metro Rail Line at Main St. and Congress St. Board the Metro Rail Red Line train towards the Northline Transit Center. Get off at the 'Main St. Square' stop and transfer to the 82 Westheimer bus. Ride the bus until you reach the 'Montrose @ Westheimer' stop. From there, transfer to the 50 Hardy Toll Road bus and ride it until you get off at 'Sabine St. @ Memorial Dr.' which is a short walk to Buffalo Bayou Park Cistern located at 105-B Sabine St.

Continue on Allen Parkway until you reach Sabine Street.
