Getting There

• Public Transit - Metro Rail

  If you are in downtown Houston, head to the Main Street Square Metro Rail station. Board the Red Line train heading towards the Northline Transit Center. After about 10 stops, get off at the Hermann Park/Rice U station. Once you exit the station, walk southwest on Hermann Park Drive for about 10 minutes. The Burke Baker Planetarium will be on your left at 5555 Hermann Park Dr.

• Public Transit - Bus

  From any location in Houston, find the nearest bus stop and check for bus routes that serve the Medical Center area. The 10 and 25 bus routes frequently pass near Hermann Park. If you take the 10 bus, get off at the stop near Hermann Park. From there, walk towards Hermann Park Drive; the Burke Baker Planetarium is located at 5555 Hermann Park Dr, just a short walk from the bus stop.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can use Houston's bike-sharing program, B-cycle. Locate a nearby B-cycle station and rent a bike. Head towards Hermann Park by following the routes on the bike map provided in the app. Once you reach Hermann Park, find your way to Hermann Park Drive, and pedal towards 5555 Hermann Park Dr, where the Burke Baker Planetarium is located.

• Walking

  If you are staying near Hermann Park or in the surrounding area, you can simply walk to the Burke Baker Planetarium. From anywhere in the park, head towards Hermann Park Drive, and you will see signage directing you to the planetarium. It's located at 5555 Hermann Park Dr, which is easily accessible by foot from various points within the park.
