Public Transit - Metro Rail
If you're near downtown Houston, head to the Main Street Square Metro Rail station. Take the Red Line train towards the Northline Transit Center. Ride for about 10 stops and get off at the Hermann Park/Rice U station. Once you exit the train, walk west on Hermann Park Drive for about 5 minutes. The Cockrell Butterfly Center will be on your left at 5555 Hermann Park Dr.
Public Transit - Bus
Find a nearby bus stop and take the Metro Bus Route 7 (or any bus that heads towards the Texas Medical Center). Inform the driver you wish to go to the Hermann Park area. Get off at the stop closest to Hermann Park. From there, walk towards Hermann Park Drive and head east for about 10 minutes. The Cockrell Butterfly Center is located at 5555 Hermann Park Dr.

If you're in the vicinity of Hermann Park, simply walk towards Hermann Park Drive. The Cockrell Butterfly Center is located at 5555 Hermann Park Dr. Look for signs directing you to the Butterfly Center as you approach the park area.
