Getting There

• Public Transit

  If you're starting downtown Houston, head to the Main Street Square METRO station. Take the Red Line train towards the Northline Transit Center. Get off at the Northline Transit Center and transfer to the 20 bus towards 'Hirsch Road'. Exit the bus at the 'Cullen Blvd @ Reed Rd' stop. From there, it's a short 10-minute walk: head south on Cullen Blvd, then turn left on Reed Rd. Continue walking until you reach the park.

• Biking

  If you prefer biking, you can rent a bike from a nearby Houston BCycle station. Start in the downtown area and head south on the bike lanes along Main St. Follow the signs directing you to the Harrisburg bike route. This route will take you directly towards the area of Eclectic Menagerie Park. Once you reach Reed Rd, turn left and continue biking until you arrive at the park.

• Walking

  If you're near the Houston Museum District, you can walk to Eclectic Menagerie Park. Start from the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, and head south on Montrose Blvd. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with South Main St. Turn right and walk down South Main St until you reach Reed Rd. Turn left on Reed Rd and walk until you arrive at the park. This route is approximately 3 miles and will take about an hour.
