Getting There

  • Public Bus

    From downtown Houston, walk to the Main Street Square station and catch the METRO Bus 40 towards 'Crosby'. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop 'Fairway Dr @ Woodridge' (about 10 stops). From there, transfer to Bus 88 towards 'Airport'. Ride for another 15 minutes and get off at 'Botanic Lane @ 1 Botanic Lane'. The Houston Botanic Garden will be directly in front of you.

  • Light Rail

    Make your way to the Main Street MetroRail Line and take the train southbound towards 'NRG Park'. After about 15 minutes, get off at 'Smithlands' station. From there, transfer to Bus 40 (Crosby) at the nearby bus stop. Ride for approximately 10 minutes and disembark at 'Fairway Dr @ Woodridge'. Finally, switch to Bus 88 towards 'Airport'. After 15 minutes, get off at 'Botanic Lane @ 1 Botanic Lane'. The garden will be right in front of you.
