To take the METRO bus, walk to the nearest bus stop on Main St at Walker St. Board the METRO bus route 50 (the bus is typically marked with '50 - Little York') and ride for approximately 3 stops. Get off at the stop for Lamar St. Walk west on Lamar St for about 5 minutes, and you will reach Old Chinatown at 2129 Lamar St. A single ride fare is $1.25, and you can pay with exact change or a METRO Q card.

If you prefer the light rail, walk to the nearest light rail station at Main St Square (near the intersection of Main St and Walker St). Board the light rail heading towards the 'Theater District' direction. Ride for 2 stops and get off at the 'Convention District' station. From there, exit the station and walk east on Lamar St for about 10 minutes.
