Getting There

• Public Bus

  If you're in Longview, you can take the Longview Transit Bus to reach Jefferson. Board the bus at the nearest bus stop and ask the driver about the route to Jefferson. The bus will take you to the Longview Transit Station. From there, transfer to a bus heading towards Jefferson. Once you arrive in Jefferson, disembark at the closest stop to the Museum of Measurement & Time, which is located at 301 N Polk St. The museum is a short walk from the bus stop.

• Bicycle Rental

  You can rent a bicycle from one of the local bike rental shops in Longview. Head towards the intersection of E Marshall Ave and N High St, then take N High St north until you reach the intersection with E Jefferson St. Turn left onto E Jefferson St, which will take you directly into Jefferson. Continue straight, and as you approach downtown Jefferson, look for N Polk St. The Museum of Measurement & Time will be on your right at 301 N Polk St.

• Walking

  If you are within walking distance in Longview, head south towards the Longview Transit Station. From the station, take E Marshall Ave and continue walking for about 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with US-59. Cross over US-59 and continue heading east until you reach the town of Jefferson. Once in Jefferson, find N Polk St, and walk north; the Museum of Measurement & Time will be located on your left at 301 N Polk St.

• Taxi or Rideshare

  You can easily use a taxi or a rideshare service like Uber or Lyft. Simply request a ride to 301 N Polk St, Jefferson, TX 75657. The driver will take you directly to the museum. It’s an efficient option if you prefer not to navigate public transportation or walk.
