Getting There

• Walking

  If you're starting from the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center, head east on 19th Street toward Avenue K. Continue north on Avenue K for about 0.6 miles until you reach 18th Street. Then, turn left onto 18th Street and walk west for about 0.2 miles. You'll find the Buddy Holly Statue in a small park area at 1824 Crickets Ave, which is just a short walk from here.

• Public Transport

  From the Lubbock Downtown Plaza, take the Citibus Route 5 (University Avenue) heading south. Get off at the stop at 19th Street and University Avenue. From there, walk east on 19th Street toward Avenue K. Continue north on Avenue K for about 0.6 miles, then turn left onto 18th Street and proceed west for about 0.2 miles. The statue is located at 1824 Crickets Ave.

• Bicycle

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Buddy Holly Center located at 1801 Crickets Ave. Head east on Crickets Ave, then turn left onto 19th Street. Follow 19th Street for about 0.4 miles until Avenue K, where you will turn right. Continue north on Avenue K for approximately 0.6 miles, then turn left onto 18th Street. The Buddy Holly Statue will be on your left at 1824 Crickets Ave, located in a small park.
