  • Public Transit

    If you are near the Lubbock Downtown area, you can catch the Citibus Route 5 (South Loop). Board the bus at any of the downtown stops, and stay on the bus until you reach the stop at 19th St & University Ave. From there, transfer to Route 11 (Civic Center) and ride until you reach the stop at 19th St & Oak Ave. Once you get off, walk east along Oak Ave for about 0.5 miles until you reach Mae Simmons Park, located at 2004 Oak Ave.

    If you prefer to bike, start from the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center located at 1501 Mac Davis Ln. Head south on Mac Davis Ln, then take a left onto 19th St. Continue on 19th St until you reach University Ave, where you will turn right. Follow University Ave until you reach Oak Ave, then turn left. Mae Simmons Park will be on your right after about 0.5 miles.
