Start by finding the nearest bus stop in Lubbock. You can catch the Citibus Route 1, which operates frequently. Board the bus heading towards the Lubbock Memorial Civic Center. Stay on the bus for about 20 minutes. Once you arrive at the Civic Center stop, disembark and transfer to Route 2. Board the bus going towards the 'South Plains Mall'. After about 10 minutes, get off at the stop near the intersection of 34th Street and University Avenue. From there, walk approximately one mile to the northwest to reach Canyon Lake Drive. Dunbar Lake will be on your right.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from any local rental shop in Lubbock. Start your journey from the city center, heading south on University Avenue for about 2 miles until you reach 34th Street. Turn left onto 34th Street and continue for another mile. Then, turn right onto Canyon Lake Drive. Continue straight for about half a mile, and you will find Dunbar Lake on your left. Make sure to adhere to all traffic rules while cycling.
