If you are in downtown Lubbock, start at the Lubbock City Hall located at 1625 13th St, Lubbock, TX 79401. Head east on 13th St towards Texas Ave, then turn right onto Texas Ave. Continue walking south for about 0.5 miles until you reach 19th St. Turn left onto 19th St and walk east until you reach I-27. Cross over I-27, and you will find the Site of Old Lubbock Historical Marker located on the west side of the interstate.

Head north on University Ave for about 1.5 miles until you reach 19th St. Turn right onto 19th St and continue for another mile until you reach I-27. The Site of Old Lubbock Historical Marker will be on your left as you approach the interstate.
