    Getting There

    Walking

    If you are in Overton, start by heading southeast on 19th Street toward University Avenue. Continue walking for about half a mile until you reach the intersection with University Avenue. Turn left onto University Avenue and walk another half a mile. Once you reach 18th Street, turn right and continue for two blocks until you arrive at Crickets Avenue. The Buddy Holly Center will be on your left at 1801 Crickets Ave. This walk should take approximately 20-25 minutes.

    Public Transportation

    You can take the Lubbock Citibus, which stops at various points in Overton. Look for the bus route that goes toward downtown Lubbock. Board the bus and pay a fare of $1.50. Stay on the bus until you reach the stop near the intersection of University Avenue and 19th Street. After getting off, walk two blocks south on University Avenue and then turn left onto 18th Street. Walk for about two blocks until you reach Crickets Avenue, then turn left. The Buddy Holly Center will be at 1801 Crickets Ave. Bus schedules can be checked on the Citibus website or through their customer service.
