From the main entrance of McKinney Falls State Park, head southwest on Highway 183 toward Austin. Merge onto US-290 W and continue for approximately 10 miles. Take the exit for I-35 S toward San Antonio. Continue on I-35 S for about 4 miles, then take exit 234C for Riverside Dr. Merge onto Riverside Dr and continue straight for about 2 miles. Turn right onto South 1st St, and after about a mile, turn left onto Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail. The Austin River-Skyline View will be on your right. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared for potential parking fees in the area.

From McKinney Falls State Park, you can take a rideshare service (like Uber or Lyft) to reach downtown Austin. Once in downtown Austin, use the Capital Metro bus service.
