Car
From McKinney Falls State Park, head northwest on Park Rd 1/Cypress Creek Rd toward the entrance. Exit the park and take a left onto TX-71 W. Merge onto I-35 N toward Waco. After about 7 miles, take exit 234C for 15th St. Turn right onto E 15th St and continue for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Brazos St, and you will arrive at Tau Ceti located at the intersection of E 2nd St and Brazos St in Downtown Austin. Parking may be available nearby, but be prepared to pay meter fees or find a parking garage.

To reach Tau Ceti from McKinney Falls State Park using public transportation, you will first need to take a taxi or rideshare (like Uber or Lyft) to the nearest public transit stop, which is at the intersection of TX-71 and I-35 (about a 10-minute drive). There, you can catch the Capital Metro Bus Route 7 toward the Downtown area. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the stop at 2nd St and Congress Ave or 2nd St and Brazos St. Walk a short distance to the intersection of E 2nd St and Brazos St to reach Tau Ceti.
