As you approach the beach, you will see a parking area on your right. There is no entrance fee to Malaquite Beach itself, but you may need to pay a fee at the entrance to Padre Island National Seashore, which is currently $25 per vehicle for a week-long pass.

    If you do not have access to a car, public transportation options are limited. The nearest major city, Corpus Christi, offers limited bus services that can take you toward Padre Island.
