If you are in downtown Plano, start at the intersection of 15th Street and Avenue K. Head north on Avenue K until you reach 18th Street. Turn left on 18th Street and continue until you reach Maumelle Drive. Turn right on Maumelle Drive, and you will find Jack Carter Park on your left after approximately half a mile. The park entrance is well-marked.

From the nearest DART station, take the DART Light Rail Green Line towards Dallas. Ride for about 15 minutes and get off at the Parker Road Station. From there, transfer to the bus route 404 towards the 'Parker and Maumelle' stop. Get off at the Maumelle Drive stop, and walk south for about 5 minutes until you reach Jack Carter Park.

If you have access to a bike, start from the Plano Bike Trail. Head towards the south on the trail that runs parallel to the eastern side of the city. Follow the trail signs directing you to Jack Carter Park. The bike trails are connected, and you will reach the park in about 20-30 minutes depending on your speed.
