Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in the heart of Port Aransas, start at the intersection of Avenue G and Alister Street. Head east on Alister Street for about 3 blocks until you reach the intersection with Port Aransas Beach Road. Turn left (north) onto Port Aransas Beach Road. Continue walking straight for about 0.5 miles, and you will reach the entrance to Port A Beach. Look for signs along the way that indicate 'Beach Access.'

• Biking

  If you have access to a bicycle, start at the Port Aransas Community Park located on 5th Street. Exit the park and head east on 5th Street until you reach Alister Street. Turn left (north) on Alister Street and continue until you reach Port Aransas Beach Road. Turn right onto Port Aransas Beach Road and bike north for approximately 0.5 miles. You will see the beach access points on your right.

• Shuttle Service

  Check for local shuttle services that operate in Port Aransas. Many hotels and rentals provide shuttle services to the beach. If you are staying at a hotel, inquire at the front desk about shuttle availability. If available, the shuttle will drop you off directly at Port A Beach. Make sure to confirm the pickup times to return.

• Public Transportation

  Look for local public transport options such as the Port Aransas Transit System. Find the nearest bus stop and confirm the route to Port A Beach. The transit system may have specific schedules, so check to ensure you are on time. The bus will take you directly to the beach area.
