If you are driving from central Red River Valley, head south on TX-21 S. Continue for approximately 15 miles until you reach the intersection with TX-46 E. Turn right onto TX-46 E and follow it for about 10 miles. You will then merge onto S Access Rd. Follow S Access Rd until you reach Canyon Lake Gorge, located at 16029 S Access Rd, Canyon Lake, TX 78133. Ensure to check for parking at the site.
Public Transportation
For those taking public transport, first, check for the nearest bus service in Red River Valley that connects to New Braunfels. Once in New Braunfels, you can take a local taxi or rideshare service to reach Canyon Lake Gorge. Note that public transport may take longer, and it’s advisable to plan your route in advance. Rideshare costs may vary, so be prepared for potential expenses.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, start from the town center of Red River Valley and head south on TX-21 S. The journey is approximately 25 miles and can take 2-3 hours depending on your pace.
