From anywhere in South Plains, head northeast towards US-84. If you're starting from Lubbock, take I-27 N toward Amarillo. Continue on I-27 N for about 60 miles until you reach the exit for TX-86 toward Quitaque. Take the exit and turn right onto TX-86 E. Follow TX-86 for approximately 20 miles until you reach Quitaque. Once in Quitaque, turn left onto Caprock Canyon Park Road. The entrance to Caprock Canyons State Park & Trailway will be on your left at 850 Caprock Canyon Park Road.
