There is a standard entrance fee of $8 per adult, $5 for children ages 6-12, and free for children under 6.

For those using public transportation, the nearest major city with bus services is Amarillo. From Amarillo, you can take a Greyhound bus to Canyon, TX. Once in Canyon, you will need to rent a car to reach Palo Duro Canyon State Park, as there is no direct public transport to the park. Rental car agencies are available in Canyon. The drive from Canyon to the park entrance takes about 30 minutes. Don't forget to check the rental car prices and availability in advance.
