If you're starting from The Woodlands Mall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 1201 Lake Woodlands Dr. Catch the 1-Metro bus towards Downtown Houston. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Main Street at Walker St stop. From there, transfer to the 82-Metro bus towards Heights. Ride for about 15 minutes, and get off at the Heights Blvd at 11th St. Stop. The John H. Reagan World War II Memorial Plaza is a short walk from there, located at 1017-1099 Heights Blvd. Follow Heights Blvd south for a few blocks until you reach the memorial.

Biking
If you have access to a bike, you can take the Woodlands Waterway Trail. Start at the Waterway Square and head southwest along the Waterway. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with Lake Woodlands Dr. Turn left onto Lake Woodlands Dr and bike towards I-45. Cross I-45 using the pedestrian bridge and continue on the bike trails that lead towards the city of Houston. Follow the bike route signs directing you to Heights Blvd. Once you reach Heights Blvd, the memorial will be located at 1017-1099 Heights Blvd.

If you're near the Town Center, you can walk to the John H. Reagan World War II Memorial Plaza. Head south on Lake Woodlands Dr, and walk towards I-45. Cross the road at the pedestrian crossing. Continue on the sidewalk along the West side of I-45 until you reach Heights Blvd. Turn left on Heights Blvd and walk north. The memorial will be on your right at 1017-1099 Heights Blvd. This walk may take about 1 hour, so wear comfortable shoes.
