Getting There

  • Public Transit

    If you're starting from The Woodlands Mall, walk to the nearest bus stop located at 1201 Lake Woodlands Dr. Catch the 1-Metro bus towards Downtown Houston. Stay on the bus for approximately 30 minutes until you reach the Main Street at Walker St stop. From there, transfer to the 82-Metro bus towards Heights. Ride for about 15 minutes, and get off at the Heights Blvd at 11th St. Stop. The John H. Reagan World War II Memorial Plaza is a short walk from there, located at 1017-1099 Heights Blvd. Follow Heights Blvd south for a few blocks until you reach the memorial.

    If you have access to a bike, you can take the Woodlands Waterway Trail. Start at the Waterway Square and head southwest along the Waterway. Continue on the trail until you reach the intersection with Lake Woodlands Dr. Turn left onto Lake Woodlands Dr and bike towards I-45.
