Start at the main transit hub in downtown Tyler, located at 200 E. Oakwood St. Take the public bus route 1 (North Loop) heading towards the Tyler Mall. Ride until you reach the Tyler Mall stop. From there, transfer to route 4 (FM 14) and continue riding until you reach the 'FM 14 @ Tiger Creek Animal Sanctuary' stop. After you get off the bus, walk approximately 0.5 miles north along FM 14 to reach the sanctuary entrance at 17552 FM14.

Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, rent a bike from a local bike rental service in Tyler. Start at the Tyler Public Library located at 201 S. College Ave. Head east on E. Ferguson St. until you reach the intersection with S. Broadway Ave. Turn left and ride north until you reach the intersection with RM 14. Turn right onto FM 14 and continue riding for about 8 miles. The sanctuary will be on your right at 17552 FM14.

Walking
For the adventurous walker, begin your journey at the Tyler Rose Garden located at 420 Rose Park Dr. Head east towards S. Broadway Ave. and turn right. Continue walking north along S. Broadway Ave., which will become FM 14 as you exit the city limit. Follow FM 14 for around 8 miles, and the sanctuary will be on your right at 17552 FM14. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and bring water, as it is a long walk.
