If you're driving from anywhere in West Texas, start by navigating to I-20 E. Continue on I-20 E until you reach the exit for US-75 N. Merge onto US-75 N and follow the signs for Dallas. Once in Dallas, take the exit for I-30 W towards Fort Worth. After a few miles, take the exit toward Sylvan Ave. and merge onto Sylvan Ave. Continue on Sylvan Ave until you reach W 10th St. Turn left onto W 10th St and look for the Texas State Historical Marker on your right near the intersection.

For public transportation, you can take a Greyhound bus to Dallas from various locations in West Texas. Once in Dallas, use the DART (Dallas Area Rapid Transit) system. Board the DART light rail at the Greyhound station and take the Green Line towards Lancaster. Get off at the 'Kessler Park' station. From there, it's about a 15-minute walk to W 10th St. Head west on W 7th St, then turn left onto Zang Blvd. Continue until you reach W 10th St, then turn right. The marker will be on your left.
