Experience Mu Ko Lanta National Park

Getting There

  • Car

    If you're traveling by car, head towards Ko Lanta from Krabi Town. Follow Route 4 south for approximately 60 kilometers until you reach the ferry terminal at Ban Saladan. Here, you will need to take a ferry to Ko Lanta, which costs around 30 THB per person. Once on the island, continue driving south on Route 4245. After about 15 kilometers, you will see signs for Mu Ko Lanta National Park. The entrance fee is approximately 200 THB for adults and 100 THB for children. The park's main entrance is located at Moo 5, Tambon Ko Lanta Yai.

  • Public Transportation

    If you prefer public transportation, take a minivan from Krabi Town to Ko Lanta, which costs about 300 THB per person. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours. Upon arrival at the main pier in Ko Lanta, you can either hire a taxi or use a songthaew (a shared taxi) to get to Mu Ko Lanta National Park. The taxi ride will cost around 400-600 THB, while a songthaew will cost about 50-100 THB per person, depending on the number of passengers. The songthaew will drop you off at the park entrance.

    If you're coming from Koh Phi Phi or Koh Lanta Noi, you can take a ferry to Koh Lanta Yai. Ferries operate multiple times a day, and the cost is around 400-600 THB.
