Car
If you are driving from Phuket Town, head northwest on Phangnga Road (Route 402) towards Kamala Beach. Follow the signs for Kamala Beach. Once you reach Kamala, look for the signs directing you to Playa Hat Kamala, which is located at X75M+69R Andaman Sea, Kamala, Amphoe Kathu, Chang Wat Phuket 83120. Park in designated areas near the beach, and remember that parking may incur fees.
Public Transportation (Songthaew)
From Phuket Town, you can take a songthaew (a shared taxi) heading to Kamala Beach. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB per person. Once you arrive at Kamala Beach, ask the driver to drop you off at Playa Hat Kamala, located at X75M+69R Andaman Sea. You may have to walk a short distance from the drop-off point to the beach.
Taxi
You can also hire a taxi from anywhere in Phuket directly to Playa Hat Kamala. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand or ask the driver to use the meter. Expect to pay around 600-800 THB for a one-way trip from Phuket Town to Playa Hat Kamala. The driver will take you directly to the beach at X75M+69R Andaman Sea.
Motorbike Rental
For the more adventurous, renting a motorbike is a great way to explore the area. Rental shops are available in Phuket Town and Kamala. The cost is typically around 200-300 THB per day. From Phuket Town, take Route 402 toward Kamala and follow the signs to X75M+69R Andaman Sea. Ensure you have a valid motorcycle license and wear a helmet.
