Getting There

• Tuk-Tuk

  If you are in Patong Beach, find a tuk-tuk station near the beach area. You can ask any local to direct you to the nearest one. Once there, tell the driver you want to go to Kamala Beach. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes and should cost around 200-300 THB. Enjoy the scenic ride along the coast!

• Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

  From your hotel or area in Patong, walk to the main road and look for a songthaew heading to Kamala Beach. They typically have a blue or red color. You can wave it down, and once inside, tell the driver your destination. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB per person, and the trip will take approximately 15-25 minutes depending on traffic.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to Kamala Beach, you can explore the area by walking. From any point in Kamala, head towards the beach by following the signs that lead to Kamala Beach. It’s about a 10-15 minute walk from the center of the village. Just follow the road that leads to the shoreline.

• Motorbike Rental

  For a more adventurous option, consider renting a motorbike. You can find rental shops in most tourist areas like Patong or Kata. Once you have your bike, navigate to Kamala Beach by following the signs on the main road. The journey will take about 20 minutes and gives you the flexibility to explore the area at your own pace. Make sure to wear a helmet and have a valid license.
