Bangkok Private Highlights Tour with Local Guide
An amazing day finding the true gems of crazy Bangkok!
We had only 2 days in Bangkok on our honeymoon, and after spending the first day finding it rather overwhelming and difficult to navigate the sprawling, chaotic city on our own (despite both being seasoned travellers and having lived for years abroad - Bangkok is a LOT!), we decided to enlist the help of a tour guide to make the most of our second day. This was one of the best decisions we made! Our guide, Chatree, contacted us the day before to start planning the day and make sure he created the best itinerary for us. The day was brilliant! We fitted in so much that it's hard to even remember everything we did! We experienced countless different modes of transport, visited temples (brilliant, obscure ones that we'd never have known about!), canals, markets, the theatre (!), museums, parks - it was such a varied, interesting, jam packed day and we loved everything about it. Chatree was with us for 8 hours and is an absolute encyclopaedia of knowledge about the Bangkok, and was really excited to share all his knowledge with us. This was such an amazing day, one of the best of our honeymoon, and we're so glad we managed to make the very most of our time in this crazy city thanks to Chatree!

Great experience, amazing full day !
I really had a great day yester with Paul and Frank ! They were so friendly and knowledgeable, they made the whole experience very pleasant. The trip in itself was great, the waterfalls beautiful and the trek in the jungle very peac. Plus we were lucky to spot wild elephants during our trip ! Definitely a great experience:) Thank you for everything!

UNESCO's Ayutthaya Historical Park: Full-Day Tour from Bangkok
The Real Thailand and a bang for your buck!
This is a detailed review or guide to help with your expectations. I highly recommend this trip especially if it’s your first time in Thailand and are staying at Bangkok. When you go to Ayutthaya, you get to see and experience the quieter and more laidback part of Thailand. There weren’t very much tourists in the locations we visited (unless there were big school groups doing field trips but they were only there in some locations, not all). This is what i like to call the “real Thailand” experience :) From the beginning, I already knew this would be a good trip and well worth my money. Why? Because the instructions strictly said that the tour guide will only wait 10minutes for me at the meeting point, but our wonderful and helpful tour guide, Jecky, coordinated with my Grab driver (my accommodation was an hour away from the meeting point and we unexpectedly ran into traffic) and instructed him to meet me along the way as the van picked up some other participants who requested for hotel pickup. For that, I am very grateful to Jecky, the driver, and TripGuru for not abandoning their clients/customers and making sure each and every one of us gets to join the tour we booked! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Jecky was kind, funny, and always helpful. We even had a pair who, after lunch, wanted to go back to Bangkok and they were planning to ride Grab from Ayutthaya all the way back to Bangkok which is so expensive. But Jecky, ever helpful and accommodating, specially dropped them off at the bus station and helped them buy bus tickets and instructed them which bus to take, what time it will leave, etc. We visited 3 locations (the palance and 2 different temples/ruins) before lunch. Jecky took us to a local restaurant overlooking the river that served really yummy pad thai and fried rice as well. He actually gave us the option to choose whether we wanted to go to a third temple/location or eat lunch. After lunch, were the last 2 locations. Jecky would give an introduction to the history of each location we visited. Then we were given free time to roam around and take pictures for 20-40 minutes. Jecky would also offer to take your picture at one iconic/Instagrammable spot in every location. Some locations (especially the ones that are like ruins/temples) offer free umbrellas to borrow. I advise you to borrow the umbrellas or bring your own (or wear a hat) because it is quite hot in Thailand. If you didn’t bring temple-appropriate clothes, the first location has a stall selling the iconic Thai elephant pants right outside the entrance. TripGuru gives the free cole water bottle at the 2nd to the last stop. Our tour actually ended at 5pm which was earlier than expected. But this was good as well because this meant we still had time to roam around and explore Bangkok on our own. The van was very cool. I’m very satsfied with the aircon and the driver took us quickly to and from Bangkok-Ayutthaya. All of us even took a nap on the way back to Ayyuthaya.
