An amazing day finding the true gems of crazy Bangkok!

We had only 2 days in Bangkok on our honeymoon, and after spending the first day finding it rather overwhelming and difficult to navigate the sprawling, chaotic city on our own (despite both being seasoned travellers and having lived for years abroad - Bangkok is a LOT!), we decided to enlist the help of a tour guide to make the most of our second day. This was one of the best decisions we made! Our guide, Chatree, contacted us the day before to start planning the day and make sure he created the best itinerary for us. The day was brilliant! We fitted in so much that it's hard to even remember everything we did! We experienced countless different modes of transport, visited temples (brilliant, obscure ones that we'd never have known about!), canals, markets, the theatre (!), museums, parks - it was such a varied, interesting, jam packed day and we loved everything about it. Chatree was with us for 8 hours and is an absolute encyclopaedia of knowledge about the Bangkok, and was really excited to share all his knowledge with us. This was such an amazing day, one of the best of our honeymoon, and we're so glad we managed to make the very most of our time in this crazy city thanks to Chatree!

Iy exceeded my expectations. If you'd like to see local communities away from mass tourism, book this tour. Not for bike beginners! but despite being 4h+, it's not tiring. I loved every second and seeing how people live and entering their houses to eat was priceless.

Fun night out

This is a super fun night out and definitely worth the money. Tuktuk cruising. Food. Drinks. Great. Our guide Ice was a legend. It was pouring rain, so he was constantly working on logistics of getting us around and keeping us dry but he made it look easy. I have lived in the region for many years, so for me the tour was kind of basic, which is perfect if you’re new to Southeast Asia and its foods. For me and a couple other people on the tour who wanted to try some, we’ll say, funky flavors, that issue was quickly remedied by Ice (at the Issan place btw. They have interesting stuff). And, like I said, I know a lot about the region, but Ice taught me so much more! So, yeah, fun tour. Great time for foodies and those who wanna see some of Bangkok they wouldn’t have otherwise.
