Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are near the Grand Palace, walk south along Na Phra Lan Road. After about a 10-minute walk, you will reach the intersection with Sanam Chai Road. Turn right onto Sanam Chai Road, and Museum Siam will be on your left after approximately 300 meters. Look for the large sign at 4 Sanam Chai Rd.

  • Boat

    If you are near the Chao Phraya River, you can take a boat to the Tha Chang Pier (Pier 9). From Tha Chang Pier, exit the pier and walk east along the riverfront. Continue for about 400 meters until you reach Sanam Chai Road. Turn left, and Museum Siam will be a short walk ahead on your left.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    You can easily find a tuk-tuk in the Rattanakosin area. Simply tell the driver 'Museum Siam' or provide the address (4 Sanam Chai Rd). The ride should cost around 50-100 THB, depending on your starting point. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey.

  • Public Bus

    Look for bus number 53 or 82, which stop near Museum Siam. Board the bus at a nearby bus stop in Rattanakosin. Once on the bus, inform the driver that you are going to Museum Siam. The fare is usually around 15 THB. Get off at the stop closest to Sanam Chai Road and walk about 100 meters to reach the museum.
