Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving from Bangkok, take Highway 4 (Phetkasem Road) heading west. After approximately 100 km, merge onto Highway 323 towards Kanchanaburi. Continue for around 60 km until you reach the town of Kanchanaburi. Follow the signs towards Erawan National Park, which is about another 60 km from Kanchanaburi town. You'll arrive at the park entrance, which is marked clearly. Make sure to have cash for the entrance fee, which is around 300 THB for adults.

  • Bus

    From Bangkok, you can take a bus from the Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai). Buses to Kanchanaburi run frequently, and the journey takes about 2-3 hours. Once in Kanchanaburi, you can catch a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Erawan National Park, which costs about 50-100 THB per person. The songthaew will take around 1 hour to reach the park entrance. Prepare cash for the entrance fee of around 300 THB.

  • Minivan

    Minivans from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi depart from various locations, including the Ekkamai Bus Station. This option is slightly faster than the bus, taking about 2 hours.
