Car
If you are driving from Bangkok, take Highway 1 (Phahonyothin Road) north. After about 50 km, merge onto Highway 2 (Mittraphap Road) towards Nakhon Ratchasima. Continue on Highway 2 for approximately 120 km until you reach Pak Chong. Follow the signs for Khao Yai National Park. The entrance to the park is about 20 km from Pak Chong. Expect to pay an entrance fee of 400 THB for adults and 200 THB for children.

From Bangkok's Mo Chit Bus Terminal, take a bus to Pak Chong. The journey takes about 3 to 4 hours and costs around 150-250 THB. Once you arrive at Pak Chong, you can take a local songthaew (shared pickup truck) or a taxi to Khao Yai National Park, which is approximately 20 km away. The songthaew ride should cost around 30-50 THB per person.

Take a train from Hua Lamphong Train Station in Bangkok to Pak Chong. The train ride takes about 3 to 4 hours, and ticket prices range from 50 to 200 THB depending on the class. Upon arrival at Pak Chong, you can either take a local songthaew or taxi to Khao Yai National Park, which is about 20 km away. Songthaew fares will be approximately 30-50 THB per person.

For a more direct route, you can use a taxi or a ride-hailing service like Grab. This option is more expensive, costing around 2,000-2,500 THB from Bangkok to Khao Yai National Park. This is ideal if you are traveling in a group and want a comfortable journey without multiple transfers.
