If you are driving from Bangkok, take Route 4 (Phetkasem Road) heading west. After approximately 100 km, merge onto Route 323 towards Kanchanaburi. Continue for about 60 km. As you approach Kanchanaburi, follow the signs to Sai Yok National Park, which is approximately 30 km from the city center. The park entrance is well-marked. Be prepared for a small entrance fee of about 100 THB per person.

To reach Sai Yok National Park via public transportation, start at Bangkok's Southern Bus Terminal (Sai Tai Mai). Look for buses that head to Kanchanaburi; these buses run frequently throughout the day. The journey takes about 2 to 3 hours and costs around 120-150 THB. Once you arrive at Kanchanaburi bus station, you can take a local songthaew (shared taxi) to Sai Yok National Park, which costs about 50-60 THB. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will take you to the park entrance.

Another option is to take a train from Bangkok to Kanchanaburi. Trains depart from Thonburi Station and take approximately 2 to 3 hours, with ticket prices ranging from 100 to 150 THB. Once in Kanchanaburi, you can hire a songthaew to Sai Yok National Park for about 50-60 THB. Ensure that the songthaew is heading to the park, as some may go to other destinations.
