Car
If you're driving, start from the center of Chiang Mai. Head southwest on Ratchadamnoen Road, then turn onto Suthep Road (Route 1004). Continue for about 4 kilometers. Look for signs for Wat Umong, and you will find the entrance on your left. There is parking available near the temple, which is free of charge.

From the center of Chiang Mai, find a Songthaew (red truck taxi) at a designated stop or hail one on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Wat Umong.
