    If you are driving, start from Chiang Mai city center and head southwest on Huay Kaew Road. Follow the road for about 8 kilometers until you reach the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. The entrance fee is approximately 30 THB per person. After entering the park, continue up the winding road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the parking area near Wat Pha Lat. Park your car and look for signs indicating the start of the Monk's Trail.

  • Songthaew (Shared Taxi)

    From the Old City in Chiang Mai, you can take a songthaew to the Doi Suthep area. Simply head to the songthaew station located at the Chang Puak Gate. Look for a songthaew that says 'Doi Suthep' on the front. The fare is around 30-40 THB per person. Ask the driver to drop you off at the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. Once you reach the park, you may have to walk a short distance to the parking area for Wat Pha Lat, where the Monk's Trail begins.

  • Public Bus

    You can take a public bus (green bus) from the Chiang Mai Arcade Bus Station to the Doi Suthep area. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes and costs around 20-30 THB. Once you arrive at the Doi Suthep area, you will need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the entrance of Doi Suthep-Pui National Park. After entering the park (30 THB entry fee), proceed to the parking area where the Monk's Trail starts.
