Tuk-Tuk
To reach Chiang Mai Elephant Sanctuary from the Old City, find a tuk-tuk at any nearby tuk-tuk stand. Show the driver the address: 136 8 Ratchapakhinai Rd, Tambon Si Phum, Mueang Chiang Mai District, Chiang Mai 50200. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the price before starting your journey, typically around 100-150 THB.

Songthaew (Red Truck)
Head to a nearby Songthaew stop, which are commonly found throughout the city. Board a red Songthaew and tell the driver you want to go to 'Ratchapakhinai Road' or show them the address: 136 8 Ratchapakhinai Rd, Tambon Si Phum. The fare is usually around 30-50 THB. Once you arrive at Ratchapakhinai Road, walk a short distance to the sanctuary.

Walking (from Old City)
If you're close to the Old City, you can walk to the sanctuary. Start at Tha Phae Gate, head down Ratchadamnoen Road towards the east. Turn left onto Ratchapakhinai Road and continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. The sanctuary will be on your left. This walk should take around 20-30 minutes.

Consider renting a bicycle from one of the many rental shops in the Old City. Head east from Tha Phae Gate down Ratchadamnoen Road, then turn left onto Ratchapakhinai Road. The sanctuary is approximately 1.5 kilometers away, and cycling should take about 10-15 minutes.
