If you are starting from the Chiang Mai Old City area, head towards the Tha Phae Gate, one of the most recognizable landmarks. From the Tha Phae Gate, walk straight along Ratchadamnoen Road. After a short 5-10 minute stroll, you will reach Pratu Tha Phae Park, which is located just on the left side of the road.

For a local experience, you can take a tuk-tuk from your accommodation. Simply tell the driver 'Pratu Tha Phae Park' or show them the location on your phone. The drivers are familiar with the area and the rides typically take around 5-10 minutes from the Old City, depending on traffic. You will be dropped off right at the entrance of the park.

You can also use a songthaew, which is a shared taxi. Find a songthaew that is heading towards the Old City area. Ask the driver to drop you off at Tha Phae Gate, which is very close to Pratu Tha Phae Park. The fare is usually around 20-40 THB. From Tha Phae Gate, it's just a short walk to the park.

Rent a bicycle from a local shop in the Old City. Head towards Tha Phae Gate and follow Ratchadamnoen Road. The distance is approximately 1 km, and it should take around 5 minutes to cycle there. Park your bike at one of the bike racks near the entrance of Pratu Tha Phae Park.
