Walking
If you are in the Old City area of Chiang Mai, start by heading towards the Chang Moi Road. Walk north until you reach the intersection at Tha Phae Gate. From there, continue walking straight along Chang Moi Road. You should see Chinatown on your left, just past the intersection with the main road. It is located at Q2R2+978, Chang Moi Rd.
Tuk-Tuk
Find a tuk-tuk stand in the Old City or along the main streets. Inform the driver that you want to go to Chinatown on Chang Moi Road. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
Songthaew
Head to the nearest songthaew stop, which is typically found on main roads. Look for a songthaew that has a route to the Chang Moi area. Once aboard, tell the driver you want to go to Chinatown. The fare is usually very affordable, and the trip should take around 15-20 minutes. Be sure to keep an eye out for your stop as you approach the location.
