Tuk-tuk
To reach Khlong Mae Kha from the Old City area, find a tuk-tuk at one of the many stands or flag one down. Inform the driver that you want to go to 'Khlong Mae Kha' located at 9 Sridonchai Rd in the Haiya Sub-district. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting the journey, which should generally cost around 60-100 THB.
Songthaew
From the Old City, walk to the nearest songthaew stop, often found along major roads. Look for a red or yellow songthaew and ask the driver if they can take you to Sridonchai Rd. If they aren't going directly, ask them to drop you off at the nearest location to Khlong Mae Kha. The fare is typically around 30-40 THB. Once you reach Sridonchai Rd, it's a short walk to the attraction.
Walking
If you are near the Old City, you can walk to Khlong Mae Kha. Start at the Tha Phae Gate and head south along Sridonchai Rd. Walk straight for approximately 1.5 kilometers, which should take about 20-25 minutes. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for the Khlong Mae Kha sign as you approach the location at 9 Sridonchai Rd.
Bicycle Rental
For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle from local shops in the Old City. Head south on Sridonchai Rd, cycling for about 1.5 kilometers.
