From the city center of Chiang Mai, head to the nearest Songthaew stop, which can typically be found near major landmarks like the Tha Phae Gate or Warorot Market. Look for a red Songthaew, which is a shared taxi. Inform the driver that you wish to go to Doi Pui View Point. The driver will take you along Huay Kaew Road towards the Doi Pui area. The ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes, and you may need to pay around 40-60 THB per person. Once you reach the Doi Pui area, ask the driver to drop you off at the viewpoint location. From there, follow the signs to the viewpoint.
Tuk-tuk
If you prefer a more private option, you can hire a tuk-tuk from the city center. Approach one of the tuk-tuk drivers near popular spots like Nimmanhaemin Road or the Night Bazaar. Negotiate the fare to Doi Pui View Point, which should be around 200-300 THB, depending on your negotiation skills. The journey will take about 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive, you can directly ask the driver to drop you off at the viewpoint entrance.
Motorbike Taxi
For a quicker and more adventurous option, you can take a motorbike taxi. Find a motorbike taxi stand, usually located near busy intersections. Tell the driver that you want to go to Doi Pui View Point. The fare will be around 100-150 THB, and the ride will be approximately 30 minutes. Make sure to wear a helmet, which will be provided by the driver. They will drop you off close to the viewpoint entrance.
Walking (if nearby)
If you are staying in the vicinity of the Doi Pui area, you can walk to the viewpoint. Head towards Huay Kaew Road and follow the road signs leading to the Doi Pui National Park.
