    From the Old City of Chiang Mai, find a songthaew (red truck) heading to Mae Rim. You can catch one from the main roads like Chang Puak Gate or the area around Thapae Gate. Make sure to tell the driver you want to go to Huai Tueng Thao Waterfall or simply say 'Mae Rim'. The ride will take about 30-40 minutes, and you will be dropped off near the entrance to the waterfall. From there, follow the signs towards the waterfall which is a short walk away.
