Getting There

• Songthaew

  From the center of Chiang Mai, head to the nearest Songthaew stop. You can find them near popular locations like Thapae Gate or the Old City. Take a Songthaew heading to Mae Taeng or Ban Pao. Make sure to confirm with the driver that they go to Sri Lanna National Park, as some may not. The fare is typically around 40-60 THB. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour.

• Public Bus

  You can also take a public bus from the Arcade Bus Station. First, make your way to the Arcade Bus Station by taking a local taxi or Songthaew from your location in Chiang Mai. Once at the Arcade Bus Station, look for buses heading to Mae Taeng. The bus ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours. After arriving in Mae Taeng, you will need to catch a Songthaew or local taxi to reach Sri Lanna National Park.

• Motorbike Taxi

  If you prefer a faster option, you can hire a motorbike taxi from your location in Chiang Mai. Use a ride-hailing app like Grab to request a ride directly to Sri Lanna National Park. This option is more expensive, typically ranging from 600-800 THB, but will get you there in about 30-40 minutes.

• Tour Package

  Consider booking a tour package that includes transportation to Sri Lanna National Park. Many local tour companies offer day trips that cover the park along with guided tours and activities. Check with your hotel or local travel agencies for options.
