Walking
If you are staying in the Old City area, start at the Tha Phae Gate, which is a well-known landmark. From there, head east on Ratchadamnoen Road for about 5 minutes until you reach the junction with Tha Phae Road. Turn right onto Tha Phae Road and walk straight for approximately 7 minutes. Thapae East will be on your left side, just before the intersection with Chang Moi Road.
Tuk-tuk
Find a tuk-tuk stand near your accommodation or flag one down on the street. Tell the driver you want to go to Thapae East, located on Tha Phae Road. Most drivers will know this popular spot. The ride should take around 5-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off near Tha Phae Gate to make it easier to find.
Songthaew
Locate a songthaew (red truck) that operates in the Old City area. You can wait at a designated songthaew stop or wave one down. When you get in, let the driver know you want to go to Thapae East on Tha Phae Road. The fare is usually around 20-30 Baht, and the journey will take about 10-15 minutes. Ask the driver to drop you off near Tha Phae Gate for easy navigation.
Bicycle
If you have rented a bicycle, start from your accommodation in the Old City. Head towards Tha Phae Gate and continue east on Ratchadamnoen Road. When you reach the junction with Tha Phae Road, turn right and cycle straight for about 7 minutes. Thapae East will be on your left, just before Chang Moi Road. There are bike racks available for parking.
