If you are in the Old City area, start at the Three Kings Monument located in the center of the Old City. Head east on Ratchadamnoen Road for about 500 meters until you reach Tha Phae Gate. You will notice the large gate structure as you approach. The road you need to cross is Tha Phae Road, where the gate is located.

Tuk-tuk
If you are further away, like from Nimmanhaemin area, find a tuk-tuk or use a ride-hailing app. Ask the driver to take you to Tha Phae Gate (ประตูท่าแพ). The ride should take around 15-20 minutes depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off directly at the gate, which is easily recognizable.

If you are renting a bicycle, start from the Old City and head towards Ratchadamnoen Road. Cycle east for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Tha Phae Road. Turn right, and you will find Tha Phae Gate on your left. There are bike racks nearby where you can park your bicycle.
