Fantastic private tour with bonus photography lesson!

We booked a private tour, just 2 of us with a driver and guide. Our guide was John, he has over 40 years of guiding experience and loves to make sure everyone goes home with great photos of their experience. We covered a huge amount of ground on the tour, temples, street scenes and local food markets. John is a terrific guide and tailors the tour and his commentary to the knowledge and interests of his passengers. The EV tram is silent so no problem hearing the commentary as you travel. We were initially concerned that it was a "night* tour and that we would miss seeing things in daylight. However, the tour starts when its light and moves around the city in a way that ensures the best photo opportunities at each stop. The evening also means no crowds and cooler weather. Its the perfect time to see the city. We had a great time. This tour is a great introduction to Chiang Mai. Very highly recommended for first time visitors or those who have been many times before.

Fantastic experience! Because we were there for two days we also got the chance to go to the elephants twice. It's easy to walk even for a ten-year-old and it's really nice to see the elephants in their own environment. In addition to watching the elephants, there is everything organized in the village. We haven't been bored for a moment.
