Getting There

Walk
If you are in the city center of Chiang Rai, start at the Chiang Rai Clock Tower. Head north on Jetyod Road until you reach the intersection with Phahonyothin Road (Highway 1). Turn right onto Phahonyothin Road and continue walking for about 1 kilometer. You'll pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs directing you to the Rop Wiang area. After about 15 minutes of walking, you will reach Soi Laplae. Turn left into Soi Laplae, and the museum will be on your right side after a short walk.

Tuk-Tuk
From any location in Chiang Rai, you can easily hire a tuk-tuk. Simply tell the driver 'พิพิธภัณฑ์ทหาร มณฑลทหารบกที่ 37' or provide them with the address '1 Soi Laplae, Tambon Rop Wiang'. The ride should take approximately 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. Most tuk-tuk drivers will know this popular tourist destination, so you can also ask them if they are familiar with it.

Songthaew
Songthaews (shared taxis) are a common mode of transportation in Chiang Rai. Head to the nearest songthaew stop and look for one heading towards Rop Wiang. You can ask the driver if they go to 'Soi Laplae'. Once on board, the ride will take about 15-20 minutes. After you get off, walk down Soi Laplae for about 200 meters, and you will find the museum on your right.
