Getting There

  • Walking

    If you are starting from the Chiang Rai Night Bazaar, head east on Phaholyothin Road. Continue straight for about 1 kilometer until you reach the intersection with Thanalai Road. Turn left onto Thanalai Road and walk for a short distance. The Chiang Rai Clock Tower will be on your right, at the intersection of Thanalai Road and Jetyod Road.

  • Tuk-Tuk

    From the Chiang Rai Bus Station, you can take a tuk-tuk to the Chiang Rai Clock Tower. Simply tell the driver 'Clock Tower, please.' The ride should take about 10 minutes depending on traffic. The tuk-tuk will drop you off right at the clock tower, which is located at the intersection of Thanalai Road and Jetyod Road.

  • Songthaew

    If you are near the central market (Kad Luang), you can catch a red songthaew (shared taxi) heading towards the clock tower. Board the songthaew and inform the driver that you want to go to the Clock Tower. The ride will take around 5-10 minutes, and you will be dropped off just a short walk from the clock tower at the intersection of Thanalai Road and Jetyod Road.
