Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start at the main entrance of Doi Inthanon National Park. Follow the park road (Route 1009) and drive approximately 10 kilometers. You will see a sign for Kew Mae Pan Viewpoint on your left. Turn left at the sign and continue on the paved road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area for the viewpoint. Parking is free, but you may need to pay the park entrance fee, which is around 300 THB for adults and 150 THB for children.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Kew Mae Pan Viewpoint using public transportation, you can take a minivan from Chiang Mai to Chom Thong. The minivan ride takes about 1.5 hours and costs around 50-100 THB. Once in Chom Thong, you will need to hire a local taxi or songthaew (shared truck) to take you to Doi Inthanon National Park. The taxi ride will cost around 600-800 THB for a round trip.
