If you're driving to Doi Inthanon Summit, start from the main entrance of Doi Inthanon National Park. Follow the main road (Highway 1009) and keep an eye out for the signs directing you to the summit. The drive will take you about 30-40 minutes. The last part of the road is steep and winding. Once you reach the parking area at the summit, you can enjoy the views and take photos. Note that there is an entrance fee for the park, which is around 300 THB for adults and 150 THB for children.

To reach Doi Inthanon Summit via public transport, you can take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Chiang Mai to Doi Inthanon National Park. The songthaew will drop you off at the main entrance. From there, you will need to hire a local taxi or a motorbike taxi to take you to the summit. The taxi ride from the entrance to the summit will cost around 400-600 THB depending on negotiations. Make sure to arrange for the driver to wait for you, as public transport options are limited.
