Car
If you are traveling by car within Doi Inthanon National Park, start from the main park entrance. Drive along the main road (Highway 1009) towards Ban Luang. The Mae Ya Waterfall is approximately 10 kilometers from the entrance. Follow the signs for Mae Ya Waterfall, which will direct you to a small parking area close to the waterfall. There is no fee for parking, but you may need to pay a small entrance fee to the national park, typically around 300 THB for foreigners.

Public Transportation
To reach Mae Ya Waterfall via public transportation, you will first need to take a songthaew (shared taxi) from Chom Thong District to Doi Inthanon National Park. The ride costs around 50-100 THB per person. Once you arrive at the park entrance, you can either walk or hire a local taxi to take you to Mae Ya Waterfall. The taxi ride from the entrance to the waterfall will cost about 200-300 THB. Be sure to negotiate the fare before getting in.

If you are already within the vicinity of Mae Ya Waterfall and prefer to walk, follow the paved path that leads from the parking area to the waterfall itself. The walk is approximately 500 meters and is suitable for most fitness levels. Be cautious as the terrain can be slippery, especially during the rainy season.
